March 2025 Newsletter | Special Edition: Leadership Growth Announcement

A Major Milestone in Our Journey

Dear Valued Customers and Quantus Team Members,

We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in Quantus's evolution since our founding in 2012. As we continue to grow and expand our services to better meet the needs of our life science customers, we are proud to announce the promotion of 11 exceptional employees who will help lead us into the next phase of our journey.

Key Highlight: These 11 promotions represent over 15% of our workforce, demonstrating our commitment to developing talent from within and creating meaningful career paths for our team members.

Approximately 12 months ago, Daniel Quinlan and Ryan Kulp set out to establish a framework that would enable Quantus to grow over the next decade. Through participation in the CEO Round Table and consultations with industry executives, we designed strategies, processes, and systems to continue delivering exceptionally high-quality service to our life science customers.

"Our customers rely on us to grow alongside them as they develop and manufacture advanced therapies, treatments, and medicines that make the world a healthier place. The leadership structure we're building today will ensure we can meet their needs while maintaining the specialized service that sets Quantus apart." - Daniel J. Quinlan, President

Calibration Department Leadership Growth

Department Goal: Establish a high-performing Calibration Management structure by transferring responsibilities to Greg and empowering all Associate Managers to operate independently, ensuring improved team productivity and accountability while advancing technical skills to stay ahead of the technology curve.

Greg has been promoted from Calibration Department Manager to Senior Manager, Calibration and Metrology Operations. With 11 years at Quantus and 20+ years in the Life Sciences industry, Greg has led the Calibration Department to remarkable growth, achieving 20% growth in 2023 and 10% in 2024. His focus on operational efficiency and customer relationships has set a high standard for the department.

Jeff Floyd → Calibration Department Operations Manager

Jeff has been promoted from Northeast Territory Supervisor to Calibration Department Operations Manager. With Quantus since 2013 during our second year of operations, Jeff has demonstrated exceptional proficiency as a senior-level Calibration Technician and leader. His great communication with customers and mentorship of other technicians have fostered a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

The Maryland territory is being restructured to prepare for accelerating growth. Ryan Kulp is currently serving as the interim Regional Manager of Maryland, with Sean and Cody's contributions being instrumental in preparing the area for this next stage of growth. Together, they are implementing a communication-focused management approach that will set the foundation for a dedicated Territory Manager in late 2025 or 2026.

Internal Operations and Offsite Services Growth

Department Goal: Enhance our specialized testing services, strengthen internal quality systems, and provide superior technical leadership to support our growing metrology and microbiology laboratory operations—establishing Quantus as the premier provider of comprehensive life sciences support services.

Juliette Jamison → Microbiologist

Juliette has been promoted from Microbiology Lab Technician to Microbiologist. She has demonstrated a high level of proficiency in environmental monitoring, microbial enumeration, and organism identification using the Bruker MALDI-TOF system. In her new role, Juliette will take on advanced microbiology testing services, including Gram stains, subcultures, microbial enumeration, and growth support testing. As our third microbiologist, joining Chelsea and Nicolle, she will help set Quantus apart from competitors by allowing us to respond rapidly to customer requests for expedited testing, organism identification, and other specialized testing services. This move enhances our capabilities with the continued support of large scale EMPQ services that we continue to receive from both new customers building new facilities and existing customers expanding their facilities. The future is bright in Micro and we are really excited for our team that has built this amazing operation.

Tony Sous → Team Lead - Metrology Center

Tony has been promoted from Internal Metrology Technician to Team Lead - Metrology Center. He has demonstrated strong proficiency in calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment such as digital meters, pressure modules, and Kaye Validators. Beyond his technical excellence, Tony brings a smile to everyone's face and is an exceptional team player.

In his new role, Tony will provide technical guidance to peers within the Metrology Center, help bridge communication between team members and management, and oversee specific projects such as equipment calibration schedules. He has been particularly supportive of newer technicians like John, helping them develop their skills while maintaining his positive attitude even during the busiest times.

Paul Dilger → Quality Assurance Associate

Paul has been promoted from Quality Control Associate to Quality Assurance Associate. He has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in validation (CQV) protocol review, microbiology lab testing report review, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and cGLPs.

In his new role, Paul will support ISO9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards, provide customer audit support, and deliver training for new and existing employees. This promotion positions him to help our newest addition to the Quality Assurance team starting next month, enhancing our ability to improve response times to customer requests for audits, documentation, early alert notifications, and quicker final report turnaround deliverables.

These promotions within our headquarter operations and specialized services teams strengthen our ability to provide industry-leading internal support and specialized testing services. By elevating talent in our Microbiology Lab, Metrology Center, and Quality Assurance team, we're positioning Quantus to respond faster to customer needs while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
